Default If you can control Guild Wars anyway you want, what would you do?

The concept is simple, if you controlled Guild Wars and do whatever you want to the players what would you do?

For me, I'll be super evil. Everyone who has a voltaic spear and tormented shield plus rages at groups when a person messes up once. Will have all of their ecto's, armbraces, zkeys and obby shards removed and all of they weapons be replaced with a starter daggers.

Anyone who uses shadow form 24/7 on things that doesn't require it. Will have their titles reset to 0 and sent back to the noob island.

Anyone who begs for gold for their xunlai storage unlocked will get their account drained of all items and their experience set to -10,000,000 so they will learn to play to get stuff.

I'll set Ether Renewal to nerf-proof. Unable to be changed.

I'll add new PvP maps and more dungeons. No elite areas.

What will you do?
Cause chaos upon the weak?
To help it by changing things?

Change all eotn dungeon staves/wands to be true universal, not primary only.

Rename Dragon Kamas back to Dragon Scythes. Then make a scythe version of dragon scythes, called Dragon Scythe (would look a lot better than draconic scythe imo)

Fix the clipping issues so many armor sets have with themselves. (mostly the gloves and shoulders on sets that clip themselves)

Remove diamonds and onyx from end chests.

Make UW and FoW work like salvers / doa so you could save progress (each quest). Same for dungeons, Each floor would be a progress point(purely because once after a friend got eotn we got to 3rd floor of dark rhyme delves and he dced and couldn't re-synch so yeah)

Not totally abandon gw to develop gw2. Removing all but a handful of devs when gw2 was still just a concept was a dumb idea.

Publicly point and laugh at people that complain because the game isn't how they want it and are gonna quit if it doesn't get changed.

1. I would delete all the gold trim, silver trim, bronze trim guilds that are being used for leaching purposes.
2. Ban beggars
3. Make myself a gold trimmed guild (Or two):P
4. Make an outpost with my character name or something that has meaning to me.

Probably a lot more other stuff that I just can't say off the top of my head but thats about it for now, of course, I would enjoy soaking in my power!!!

Lol. have you never seen a sin in your group trying to use SF on some random area with teammates and no apparent reason?

As for me, i'd make Kanxais, Pandas and Island Guardians as common as pigs once were

Roll back the loot nerf. It was a really bad way to control income, it stifled inventive play and forced the farming player base into this dull homogenous SF grind. That single stupid decision rendered hundreds of builds pointless and replaced the all with two. On that day GW become Time>>>>Skill

A way to unlock every armor and weapon skins in PvP with Balthazar faction. Just like Skills, Items, Heroes. Unlock it, it becomes available forever. I think the current system is pretty bad for those using PvP only characters.

Roll back loot scaling
Don't juts delete SF, delete sins completely >_> ahem (ok, ok, kidding...)
Bring back Aegis to the way it was in PvP

And I agree with windf0rce: make armor/weapons un-lockable with balth. Remove the ability to unlock heroes and add this. Not like you need heroes anymore.

I would cause the price of ectos and shards to plummet to 250g then sit back and wait for the QQ. After that I'd introduce new guild halls and some new dungeons that are filled of nothing but incubi and some severely OP end bosses that have really really bad AI.

Roll back Loot Stealing (aka Scaling), Fix SF so that if the assassin attacks it ends and causes all skills to recharge (for three seconds). Upgarade all graphics to DX9.0c and fix a few memory leaks. Other than that, nothing.

Edit; add player housing and an auction house.

make ecto's and armbraces account based like z coins (because im evil and broke atm lol)....and remove inscribable weapons as they destroyed what getting a good modded weapon meant....oh and also disable random elites every month on a random rota...i could go on and on here lol

I would give all players a command that will ban other players permanently....let them fall apart on their own....not my fault..is it?

1. I make the PvP Equipment Creation menu available for PvE characters.
2. I make item skin unlocks account-wide and available to both PvP and PvE characters.
3. The more ridiculous titles are removed. I come up with more interesting ones to replace them.
4. Full hero parties are now available.
5. Disable loot scaling.
6. Start going over useless skills and making them useful, and nerfing overpowered ones. As well as getting community suggestions.
7. All remaining titles become account based.

I'd do other stuff, but this is what comes to mind.

Shadow Form becomes a form and disables itself for 120 sec.

Ether Renewal only affects elementalist spells.

Aura of Holy Might's duration becomes linked to mysticism.

Kurzick/Luxon, SS/LB, and the various rep titles have their grind requirements cut in half (10 million faction for kurzick and luxon? 180k for each eotn title? that's insane for titles that offer gameplay advantages in a game where skill is supposed to be greater than grind).

-Make my skill balancer(s) work closely with top 100 guilds for skill balance.

- There would be no such thing as PvE-only. PvP players would be able to use such skills provided they actually got them the same way PvE players would get such skills.
- The Monk elite Ray of Judgment would be a Paragon Command elite skill.
- The term "adjacent" in all spells and skills would be changed to "random".
- Ritualists, Dervishes, Assassins and Paragons could start in Prophecies only if you beat Prophecies with at least one character and obtained the title "Protector of Tyria".
- Once you obtain the title "I'm Very Important", you can hold up to two million gold in your account's storage.
- The bonus achievement for the Prophecies mission Divinity Coast would be changed to "... have 4 or 5 Chosen at the end.".
- The final boss in Eye of the North takes zero to fire, holy, shadow and earth damage.
- The final boss in Prophecies now uses the elite skill "Aura of the Lich".
- Beast Mastery skills are now merged with Expertise. The term Beast Mastery is no longer existent.
- The elite skill Mind Blast is now Earth Magic. Mind Blast now deals earth damage and has been renamed "Mind Crush".
- All bosses now deal 33% more damage regardless of campaign.
- A new PvP arena has come. "Solo Arenas" allows PvP characters to fight each other in 1-on-1 battles. You can choose which primary class to fight. A title for this arena would not exist. You may also fight yourself (Doppleganger) as well.
- Cows are now tamable pets. They can be found only in the Nightfall explorable area called The Mirror of Lyss.
- Canadian districts are now available.
- Egyptian districts are now available.
- Dervishes who uses weapons other than scythes suffer a 5% less damage dealing percentage.
- Monks who uses weapons other than wands or staves suffer a 5% less damage dealing percentage.
- Ooze foes are now called "Glorbs".
- Charr foes take 33% less damage from fire.
- The Survivor Title no longer applies to experience amount. Tier 1 is beat one campaign without dying once, Tier 2 is beat two campaigns without dying once and Max Tier is beating Prophecies, Nightfall and Factions without dying once.
- The max Death Penalty is now 40%. When you die, you suffer a 10% penality. If the entire party wipes in Hard Mode with all party members at 40% DP, you lose 20k experience and are forced back to the last outpost you were in.
- The condition Blind no longer exists. All skills and spells that performed Blind on a target is replaced with a new condition called "Fear". Fear makes the target unable to use skills or spells for the time normally applied with Blind.

This is why I don't control Guild Wars and never will. Have a good day.
